I Know Who Holds Tomorrow
I don't know about tomorrow; I just live from day to day. I don't borrow from its sunshine, For its skies may turn to gray. I don't worry o'er the future, for I know what Jesus said; and today I'll walk beside Him, for He knows what is ahead.
Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand; But I know who holds tomorrow, and I know who holds my hand.
Psalm 23:4
"Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
(with my husband), I will fear no evil, for You are with me."
I don't know about tomorrow - it may bring me poverty; but the One who feeds the sparrow is the One who stands by me. And the path that is my portion may be through the flame or flood; But His presence goes before me, and I'm covered with His blood.
Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand; But I know who holds tomorrow, and I know who holds my hand.
Isaiah 41:13
"I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you."
Psalm 32:7-8
"For You are my hiding place; You protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you."
The Melody of Rest
Holy Spirit, lay beside us. Bring us into Your peace as we rest in You. For we know healing comes when our bodies are at rest, and our minds are stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3).

We know this rest does not come absent from You. So please help us to lay down our burdens and roll over into Your sweet presence. Your Word is our source of hope. We will quietly keep our minds on Your laws (Psalm 119:95,114).
​
May we never forget to offer our prayer of praise, with our hearts and hands raised to You at the close of each day (Psalm 141:2).
​
For each day You pour Your unfailing love upon us, and each night we sing Your songs, praying for You to give us life, yes, life everlasting (Psalm 42:8). So we close our eyes and our minds with complete trust in You, because You promise to never fail us, if only we will let go and trust You fully. Yes, Lord! Yes, Lord! Yes, Lord, we will trust in You!

Thank You for the words and melody You sing over us in the middle of the night that say, "My child, trust Me!" And again, we reach out and fall asleep in Your love (Zephaniah 3:17).

Sleep in Heavenly peace. Sleep in Heavenly peace.
